Lazy Bear Lodge is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or to relax after a long day on the slopes. The entire property consists of a fully-fenced backyard with a hot tub and outdoor furniture, a garage for parking and 2 full bedrooms in the home, equipped with flat screen TVs. There is a fireplace in the living room, with mini-split heating and cooling provided in each bedroom and the living room for customized comfort.

The property is 880sq ft inside and is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, just minutes away from wild burros and a bark park. The cabin is a 15-minute drive from the village and Snow Summit.

You will be allowed full private use of the cabin and backyard. Private fully-fenced outdoor entertaining space with outdoor furniture and a hot tub. THE HOT TUB IS IN WORKING ORDER AND USABLE DURING ALL SEASONS. If there is a change, the listing will be updated. There’s no need to ask prior to booking!

While we do provide a pack n play and high chair, we do not have baby-proofed cabinets or other baby or toddler-proofing around the house. Our property can hold a maximum of 6 guests TOTAL: including infants. Please do not attempt to book if your party has more than 6 people or your reservation will have to be canceled.

YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY. This property features two exterior security cameras. One is located on the side of the garage with a view of the front door, driveway in front of the house and a partial view of the street. The other one is located on the back of the garage with a view of the backyard seating areas, the back door to the garage, and the back door of the house. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras continuously record audio and video.There are two noise monitors on the property: one in the backyard and one in the living room of the property. These devices measure levels of noise in decibels to prevent abuse of the property and parties in order to maintain community comfort for our neighbors. This device does not record audio. If the decibel limit is set off during your stay, you will be notified and asked to keep it down. If you are notified that you’re being too loud outside of QUIET HOURS and you do not correct the issue within 10 minutes, your reservation will be cancelled immediately and you not receive a refund. 

Laundry, private hot tub, entire home and garage is accessible to guests.

I recommend getting around by car. There are 2 garage spaces and 2 driveway spaces in front of the house.

We allow up to TWO pets with no additional fees. We just ask that pets are not left in the cabin unattended while you’re out adventuring. Pets must be crated in the event that you leave. Any pet damage or pet waste remains found inside will be charged a minimum fee of $200.

All pet waste MUST be picked up and placed in the exterior large black trash can to avoid additional fees.

Big Bear is a rural area known to have dangerous animals that can roam around the town. To ensure your safety, please make sure all the cabin doors and your car doors are closed and locked while in Big Bear. Make sure not to leave trash or items outside as that can attract wildlife to your location.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
